When it comes to hashtags, less is definitely more, especially for smaller accounts.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

❌No, I don't mean you should use 5 out of the 30 hashtags IG lets you use...⁣⁣ 

✅I mean you should choose SMALLER hashtags, the ones with fewer posts.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Basically big hashtags:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

💥Have TONS of competition (so it's nearly impossible to stand out)⁣⁣ 

💥Give you a TINY window where your post can actually be seen (5 min max)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

So, instead of using something like #love this valentines day, try using something like #valentines2020 😉💕💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
